Expressive

Not every pic I make is full and complete, in fact most are simple doodles and some of them make the cut into fully finished drawings.

This is a good example of practicing expressions. Sometimes I spend as much time drawing these little scraps that I take as much time as if I were doing an actual pic I planned on finishing.

This time I doodled some expressions of Katrina. As per usual, there is always some inspiration for doing these and that inspiration this time was Mitsuba from Mitsudomoe. She makes some absolutely wonderful facial expressions and I wanted to try and capture some of that cuteness/spirit from these doodles, lol.

At the top is a look of astonishment, She looks somewhat surprised or maybe even in disbelief about something. Maybe she just opened the fridge to see it was empty, XD.

Below that one on the left is a look of.. well.. I'm not sure. But personally I like to think she may look like that if someone caught her in a lie or something. Or maybe they're asking her to do something weird.

Next to it is... a classic. Super PISSED OFF Katrina. There's just something about drawing her angry that flows so easily and I can do it with little to no hassle. Her shirt has a dinosaur saying "Rawr", and her pose is somewhat typical, but very cute because ya can see all of her curves. I suggest that if ya see those curves like this.

Right below that one is a look of haughtiness I believe. She simply looks as if she feels... superior... on top... in charge in that pic. That sly smile she appears as if she's going to make some sort of insulting comment before giggling.

Last, and my personal favorite, is Katrina eating, XP. She's probly making that tight shirt tighter, and that piggy on her shirt isn't helping her at all to look like she's eating moderately, and if you brought that up she'd probably revert to that pissed off expression, XP. Just don't point it out if she doesn't fit in her clothes too well, XD. I'm not sure what it is, but this one is just my favorite, probably because of how cute she looks in that shirt, and because I've always loved watching her eat things.
