A crash and the sound of breaking glass.

A thump and a vial goes skittering.

Beakers, flasks, vials and pitri dishes stumble and fly, soaring majestically before meeting their end.

"Goddammit! Are you TRYING to kill everyone!?" A man's voice yelled.

"A-ahh, s-sorry!" The soft voice said.

"Gahh, just.. Get out! You break every goddamn thing you touch!"

There was silence for a few moments. "B-but.. I.. we almost... I'm sorry I mean.." She stammered sounding upset and not sure what to say. Sure she'd been breaking things all day, but she never meant to. Sometimes she'd lose her balance and other times she wouldn't be able to see it past the mountains that were her breasts. She always tried to catch it before it fell but that usually caused more trouble.

"Oh.. Katrina it's ok, I'm sure he'll let you stay right Yami?" Silencer says stepping in for her friend. Katrina wasn't very good with confrontation.

"Like hell! She's already destroyed half of my lab! Experiments I've been doing for YEARS just went up in smoke! This, THIS! Is why we haven't evolved past steam power yet!" He growls. "And we're working with dangerous things, we're going to start testing nuclear equipment soon. NUCLEAR. And when you combine Steam power, Something already sort of unstable, with NUCLEAR POWER, an accident would be terrible!" He snaps at her. "That's like handing a three year old a cookie laced with Cyanide and telling it not to eat it."

Yami wasn't usually this mean about things, however he had been stressed lately. So much of this was new to him since Nuclear energy wasn't something he dealt with on a regular basis and his weeks without sleep were running him ragged.

The big cat girl glances down, her eyes welling up with tears. She pokes out her bottom lip. "O-ok.. fine... I.. I don't wanna do science anyway... I.. hate science.." She mews, her voice just a squeak.

Silencer's emotions were incredibly conflicted. She watched her saddened friend, eyes sparkling at the sheer amount of cuteness that seemed to emanate from her right now. "M-moe!" She whispered to herself. She shook her head and turned back to Yami. "H-hey dammit! You didn't need to go that far! Apologize right now!" She yells.

Yami looked annoyed back and fourth between Katrina and Silencer. He was a man of science and battle! He didn't know how to handle the mind of an emotionally fragile young girl, the hell were they expecting?

Katrina turned and began to walk away, lifting a sleeve to wipe away some tears. She stopped and turned back to them. "... O-oh... Nikanait..." She mews softly.

"Huh?" Silencer and Yami both sound rather confused.

"Nikanait is your best bet... I-It has a lower mass than Nickle or Iron and will have more binding energy than any other metal..." She stops to sniffle again. "If you h-heat it up to several hundred thousand degrees and u-use the seal of energy in the book of the gods.. you might be able to make a self containing energy source... like a little star." She mews before she whimpers again and goes running out of the room.

".... what just happened?" Silencer asks looking confused, but nowhere NEAR as confused as her husband. "... I... I think I just fired the most emotionally distraught genius I've ever employed..."

LOL, For those of you who don't get it, "Moe" is a Japanese term pronounced MO-EHH, that stands for something a character does, or just a character in general that does something that you absolutely adore, find them cute for or think is rather attractive. Silencer used it because Katrina just oozes adorabillity when she's sad.

Plus I finally got to show a few new things! Yami is a scientist! XD. He's one of the top scientists on Urth and has helped them to develop many new inventions. And just as he said, on Urth they are all using steam power still. They have revolutionized it and as such it is a very eco friendly and powerful kind of energy, and when combined with magic and technology anything can be completed.

Silencer is also very smart as she lived with Professor Decca for many years, learning much about machinery and genetics, allowing her to aid her husband in his expeditions into the unknown worlds.

And Katrina.. well she was raised by a family of scientists and didn't have many friends, nor did she like to do much. Not many people notice due to her personality, her anti-social attitude towards people, and her easily distracted demeanor, but she is actually VERY smart. Of course most people don't believe her or take her seriously because remember "You can't have boobs AND brains." Which is a scientific breakthrough since Katrina has disproved that theory. Also, she was lying, she loves science, but her Tsundere attitude made her say that she hated it, XP.

And Nikanait is the strongest metal on their planet, as well as a very special element as it can seemingly be transmuted into any other element with the right arcane stimulation.

I love the expressions here, Silencer's were fun! And I want Katrina's shirt (For those who can't see it's one Hydrogen attatched to an Oxygen with another little Hydrogen down there saying "You complete me!" to make H20.
